‘Snow White and the Dancing Dwarfs’

The Tamaqua Area Community Theater will present “Snow White and the Dancing Dwarfs” this weekend at the Tamaqua Community Arts Center.

We are all familiar with the tale of Snow White, but did you know that Snow White’s Dwarfs are amazing dancers?

Come see for yourselves as the classic Brothers Grimm fairy tale of Snow White, her evil stepmother, the all-knowing mirror and the handsome (but not-too-brainy) prince, step their way back into your hearts and imagination through this musical version of the story.

The show is produced in arrangements with Heuer Publishing and was written by Ken Jones, Christine Jones and Jamey Strawn.

Making his directorial debut, Matt Poirier is excited to showcase the local talents of the community. Musical direction is provided by Aimee Hull.

Shows will be at 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and at 2 p.m. Saturday.

The art center is located at 125 Pine St., Tamaqua.

For more information, or tickets, call 570-668-1192 or visit www.TamaquaArts.org or visit the art center’s Facebook page.
