A Nesquehoning man faces drug charges after he was found with marijuana.

On March 31, Nesquehoning police went to the home of Wash Tyahla of West Marconi Street to follow up on another incident. Tyahla invited the officer into the home, which smelled like burned marijuana.

As the officer spoke to Tyahla, he saw a silver pipe used for smoking marijuana and a small plastic bag with suspected marijuana in the living room.

During the conversation, Tyahla admitted to smoking marijuana from time to time and said he saw the officer looking at it on the table.

Tyahla was charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana.
