Two former area players are enjoying solid seasons as members of the Moravian College softball team.
Brooke Wehr, a graduate of Northwestern, has started all 14 of the Greyhounds games and is currently batting .385. Wehr has 20 hits in 52 at-bats and leads the team in runs scored with 20. The former Tiger also leads the club in homers (six), RBIs (18), and total bases (41), while adding three doubles and three walks.
Madison Shaneberger, a Pleasant Valley grad, is hitting .368, going 14-for-38 at the plate. The former Bear has started 13 games and has collected five doubles, one homer, eight runs scored, and 13 RBIs.
The two have helped Moravian compile an 11-3 record.
