A Monroe County man was jailed on Sunday following a domestic incident.
Pocono Mountain Regional police said at 12:57 a.m. they were dispatched to the 100 block of Firehouse Road, in Tobyhanna Township, for a reported domestic assault. On scene a woman told officers her boyfriend, identified as Jimmy Ross II, 41, of that address, had punched her and slapped her after she came home from a bar. Officers observed injuries on the woman consistent with her statements.
Ross was taken into custody and charged with simple assault and harassment. He was taken to the county prison in Snydersville, where he remains.
