Tamaqua graduate and former Times News Baseball Player of the Year in 2014 Bo Rottet is off to a strong start as a member of the Kutztown University baseball team.
Rottet has started all 12 of Kutztown’s games and is hitting .349 (15-for-43). The former Blue Raider leads the team in runs scored with 13, and doubles with six. He is also tied for the club lead in total bases with 21.
He has had five multiple-hit games and stolen three bases, while owning a .451 on-base percentage and a .488 slugging percentage.
The junior also recently reached the career 100-hit mark.
The Golden Bears currently own a 6-6 record.
