Luncheon

Members of the 1964 graduating class of Jim Thorpe High School will enjoy lunch at Penn’s Peak at noon Wednesday. Those attending are reminded to bring their artwork and the questionnaire that were distributed at last month’s gathering.

Holy Week services

St. John’s Lutheran Church, South Avenue, has announced its Holy Week services. On Thursday, Maundy Thursday service will begin at 5:30 p.m. Good Friday service will be at 2 p.m. with the Lutheran Stations of the Cross. There will be no Saturday evening service week, and Easter services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday.

Easter Egg Hunt

The Diligent Fire Company, Center Avenue, will hold its 71st annual Easter Egg Hunt for the children at 1 p.m. Saturday. It is open to children up to the age of 10 and will be held in the fire company parking lot.
