Carbon County offices will be closing at noon today.

State Rep. Doyle Heffley's satellite offices in Lansford and Albrightsville are closed today.

Carbon County Community Transit: All Carbon County Community Transit Shared Ride and Lynx Bus service for Wednesday has been canceled due to the inclement weather.

Eldred Township: Board of supervisors meeting postponed until 7:30 p.m. March 26.

Chestnuthill Township: Transfer station will be closed at noon today because of the weather.

Jim Thorpe: All cars need to be off the even side of the designated routes until notified to move. All cars on the ordinanced routes need to move to the odd side of the road. Any car on the even side of the designated routes will be ticketed.

Lansford: Snow emergency in effect. No parking beginning at 9 a.m. Wednesday on the south side of Patterson Street. There is also no parking on Water, Kline, Snyder and Front streets, as well as no parking on Spring Garden between Bertsch and Abbott streets.

Tamaqua Salvation Army: Due to the impending weather, the 2018 start of OLDER & BOLDER's Wednesday session is canceled, as is DANCE & DRAMA.

Weatherly: Snow ban is currently in effect.
