Palmerton and Jim Thorpe both dropped tennis matches on Monday.
Palmerton-Bangor
Mattis Willhuhn rallied for a victory at No. 2 singles, but that was the only win Palmerton produced as it dropped a 4-1 Colonial League decision to Bangor.
Nate Andress suffered a close loss at No. 1 singles, and the No. 2 doubles team lost in a pro-set tiebreaker as the Bombers fell to 2-2 on the season.

Jim Thorpe opened its season with a 4-1 non-league loss to Northampton.
The Olympians’ victory came at No. 3 singles, where Raymond O’Neil rallied for a 1-6, 6-2, 6-2 win.
