The 2018 spring sports season officially got underway for area schools on Wednesday when Palmerton defeated Salisbury in boys tennis action.

Playing in conditions that felt more winter-like than spring-like, Palmerton got its season off to a hot start.
The Bombers swept singles on their way to a 4-1 Colonial League victory over Salisbury.
Nate Andress, Mattis Willuhn and Marc Roselli all posted straight set singles wins for Palmerton — with none of them losing more than three total games in the process.
