The engagement of Kearsen Meckes of Malvern to Oliver Schultz, also of Malvern, has been announced by her parents.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Melissa and Terry Levan of Jim Thorpe and Roger and Tammy Meckes, also of Jim Thorpe.

She is currently working on finishing a Master’s of Occupational Therapy degree at University of the Sciences in Philadelphia.

The prospective bridegroom is the son of Valerie and Christopher Neal of Lehighton. He is finishing a Master’s Degree in Astronautical Engineering at the University of Southern California. He is employed as an aerospace engineer at Vencore Inc. in King of Prussia.

A wedding is planned for Oct. 19, 2019.
