Tamaqua Cpl. Henry Woods has filed charges in two separate bad check cases.

• Michele Fabok, 50, of 198 Faith Drive, New Ringgold, used a check to pay for tire service at Lehigh Tire on Dec. 18, 2017. The check, in the amount of $361.28, was returned stamped “Not Authorized.” Fabok was notified by certified letter on Jan. 16 of the check return and has failed to make an attempt to pay her bill.

• Trevor M. Jefferson, 31, of 15 S. White St., Shenandoah, paid a fine in the court of District Judge Stephen Bayer on Jan. 12, using a check from a CACL FCU account. The check, made out for $400, was returned on Jan. 17, marked “Not Sufficient Funds.” A certified letter was sent to Jefferson and returned as unclaimed.
