A pair of employees from a Weatherly eatery are behind bars for their actions against one of their fellow employees.
Antonio Guillermo, 27, of the 100 block of Carbon Street, faces charges of unlawful contact with a minor, corruption of minors, indecent assault and harassment.
Osman Osorio, no age given, also of the 100 block of Carbon Street, faces charges of corruption of minors and harassment.
According to the affidavit of probable cause filed by officer Kyle Kaschak of the Weatherly Borough Police Department:
In August/September of 2017, the victim, a minor, was working at the La Napoli Restaurant at 208 Carbon Street.
During this time, a co-worker known to her as John Doe, also known as Tony Carias, also known as Guilermo Carlas De Paz, made lewd comments and gestures during a group conversation with two other people.
The victim said Guillermo also groped her and she reported this to Weatherly police on Dec. 17.
The victim said that other juvenile female co-workers had similar lewd acts and obscene words said to them during this time frame.
The victim identified Guillermo from pictures on social media, and police were able to determine that he works at the La Napoli Restaurant in Weatherly.
Guillermo is scheduled to have a preliminary hearing at 9:45 a.m. March 7 before District Judge Joseph Homanko of Weatherly.
He remains incarcerated in the Carbon County Correctional Facility in lieu of $250,000 bail.
