A vehicle rolled over onto its passenger side in an incident at 12:04 p.m. Feb. 22 along Pohopoco Drive in Lower Towamensing Township.

State police at the Lehighton barracks did not identify the driver but said a 2012 Kia Sorento was westbound on Pohopoco Drive and stopped in the area of 7045 Pohopoco Drive when the driver attempted to turn around and travel in the opposite direction. Police said the vehicle began to slide on gravel on the side of the road and traveled onto an embankment where it rolled onto its side.

Police said the vehicle sustained non-disabling damages to its passenger’s side doors and mirror.

No injuries were observed by officers.
