The Monroe County Women’s Commission will show the movie “Hidden Figures” in celebration of Women’s History Month. The movie will be shown at 4:30 p.m. March 6 at East Stroudsburg University in Beers Lecture Hall just off Normal Street near College Circle. Enter from Prospect Street.

“Hidden Figures” is a Hollywood motion picture which reveals the success story of the women who worked behind the scenes at NASA, despite overwhelming discrimination and hardship.

The movie is free, and open to the public. It is being shown for Women’s History Month, with this year’s theme of “Nevertheless, She Persisted” honoring women who fought all forms of discrimination against women.
