Two women were arrested after damaging a home in Summit Hill last weekend.
Olga Gomez-Irizarry, 26, of Summit Hill, and Megan Luchetta, 24, of McAdoo, were charged with felony criminal trespass and criminal mischief.
Both were committed to the Carbon County Correctional Facility. They were both later released on bail.
According to the affidavit of probable cause filed by Summit Hill Police:
At 10:54 p.m. Feb. 2, police were dispatched to the 300 block of E. White Street for a report of two women who kicked in the door of the caller’s residence, then fled in a white Jeep.
Around the time of the dispatch, the suspect vehicle passed by the officer, and the officer stopped the vehicle in Lansford.
The officer went to see the caller, who positively identified Gomez-Irizarry and Luchetta.
Police said the front door was broken in, with the wooden frame destroyed, but the dead bolt was still in the locked position.
