Pocono Mountain Regional police are warning area residents of a possible scam operation.

Police said two men, posing as PPL employees, approached the owner of a residence along Moyer Road in Blakeslee on around 4 p.m. Saturday, attempting to gain entry into the home. The two claimed they had to check the “levels” inside the home. The homeowner denied them entry and the two ran away.

The two suspects were described as being in their 20s with dark hair and beards. One man was Hispanic and the other white.

Police warn anyone encountering these men to not let them enter your home and call police immediately.
