There were many crashes on snow-covered roads in Nesquehoning today. One included a jackknifed tractor trailer. It occurred at 4:20 p.m. on the hill leading up to New Columbus. The driver mistakenly turned right at the light and went up the New Columbus hill rather than going straight to go out Route 54. Fire police and Nesquehoning police had the road shut down for the duration of the incident. ​
