Tamaqua police detail citations

Tamaqua police released information on several citations issued by the department.

• Bradley Scott Warnick, 35, of 114 Green St., Tamaqua, was cited for theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property after he was identified as the person who stole a package that had been delivered to a location in the 100 block of East Broad Street. FedEx delivered the package that morning and before the person to whom it was addressed could retrieve it, Warnick kicked it, picked it up and took it with him.

• Ralph Bolletino, 55, of 124 Center St., Tamaqua, was cited for passing a bad check. He wrote a check for $210 to Rarick’s Coal and Oil Inc. on Dec. 12, which was returned marked “not sufficient funds.” Efforts to have Bolletino make good on the check failed.

• James Faust, 30, of 320 N. Elizabeth St., Tamaqua, was cited for harassment after a domestic dispute on Jan. 26. The incident was reported at 8:33 a.m.

• Jaswinder Singh, 30, was cited for public drunkenness on Jan. 25. He called the Schuylkill County Communications Center requesting help from police at 12:18 a.m. When officers arrived Singh wasn’t home. Instead, he was stumbling north in the 200 block of Center Street. He could offer no explanation as to why he called police but admitted to making the call.

• Two women, Aris J. Heimbach, 32, and Eileen Heimbach, 32, both of 612 Arlington St., Tamaqua, were cited for disorderly conduct and public drunkenness on Jan. 26. The women were involved in a shouting match at 3:05 a.m. in the parking lot of the Turkey Hill Minit Market, 330 E. Broad St. Both smelled strongly of alcohol and refused officers requests to stop yelling and go home.
