A cold front will bring rains and some snow to the area today and tonight. Snow accumulations are expected to be light.

An area of low pressure will affect the region Sunday and Sunday night. The exact track of the low will determine which locations receive rain versus snow. Therefore, snowfall amounts and impacts are

uncertain at this time. A significant snow accumulation for the higher elevations of the southern Poconos is possible.

Today: A slight chance of rain and snow between 11am and noon, then a chance of rain. Cloudy, with a high near 41. Light southwest wind increasing to 5 to 9 mph in the morning. Chance of precipitation is 50%. Little or no snow accumulation expected.

Tonight: Rain, snow, and sleet likely, becoming all snow after 9pm. Cloudy, with a low around 20. Southwest wind 6 to 9 mph becoming northwest after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New snow and sleet accumulation of less than a half inch possible.

Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 24. Northwest wind 13 to 16 mph.

Friday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 10. Northwest wind 7 to 14 mph.

Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 26. West wind around 8 mph.

Saturday Night: A chance of snow. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 23. Chance of precipitation is 40%.

Sunday: Snow. High near 33. Chance of precipitation is 80%.

Sunday Night: Snow. Low around 26. Chance of precipitation is 80%.

Monday: Partly sunny, with a high near 29.
