In the spirit of teamwork, Olive Garden has released a hack for the perfect Super Bowl party appetizer — Loaded Pasta Chips.
Brand-new to menus starting Jan. 29, the Loaded Pasta Chips are an Italian twist on nachos, swapping tortilla chips for lightly fried pasta chips topped with Italian cheeses, a meat sauce with chicken, meatballs and sausage, cherry peppers and an Alfredo drizzle.
For those throwing watch parties for the big game, Olive Garden is sharing its hack to make pasta chips at home. The hack uses lasagna noodles, lightly fried and tossed in garlic salt — simply top with favorite Italian toppings.
Pasta Chips
Stack lasagna noodle sheets on a cutting board.
Cut each sheet into three equal pieces. Heat oil into a pan and gradually add chips to the oil; fry until crispy. Transfer cooked chips to basket and allow the excess oil to drain for 1 minute. Gently toss cooked chips in garlic salt to coat. Add your favorite toppings.
