Lehighton Police Department reported a total of 40 offenses for the month of December, including: 11 for theft by unlawful taking; five for DUI; four for possession of marijuana; two each for possession with intent to deliver methamphetamines, theft of services and harassment; and one each for arrest prior to requisition (fugitive), aggravated assault, simple assault, burglary, corruption of minors, disorderly conduct, harassment by communication, indecent assault (attempted), motor vehicle theft, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of heroin, Sunshine law violation, terroristic threats and transmission of sexually explicit images.

Police also issued 54 traffic citations.
