Two defendants pleaded to driving under the influence on Monday in Carbon County court before Judge Joseph J. Matika.

Stephen T. Delman Jr.

, 67, of Weatherly, was arrested on Oct. 28, 2017, along West Main Street by Weatherly police. A test revealed a 0.22 BAC.

A first offense for sentencing purposes, he was placed on probation for six months and ordered to pay a fine of $300, render 25 hours of community service, pay court costs of about $1,000, pay a $50 per month supervision fee while on probation and follow any recommendation of his drug and alcohol evaluation.

Michael G. Fischetti

, 29, of Lewisburg, Union County, was arrested on April 17, 2017, along Route 940 by Kidder Township police. A test revealed the presence of a controlled substance.

Sentencing was deferred so Fischetti can apply for placement in the county’s Intermediate Punishment Program - house arrest.
