A Tamaqua man was charged after he left drug paraphernalia in an apartment in the 200 block of East Broad Street on Jan. 18.
Police were contacted by the apartment building manager at 9:34 a.m. after she received a photo from a home health care aide, showing a syringe and spoon on a table in a tenant’s apartment.
The tenant was then contacted by police and shown the photo. When she asked where the photo was taken, she was told it was in her kitchen. She gave officers permission to retrieve the items, telling them they must have been left behind by Steve Campbell, 38, of 217 Rowe St., Tamaqua,
Campbell admitted the items were his, saying he forgot they were there.
He was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
