McAdoo police released information on recent citations issued as a result of traffic stops.
Lorraine Searfoss, 49, of McAdoo, was stopped at midnight on Jan. 4 after officers saw her Jeep crossing the double yellow lines on Blaine Street. Due to her actions she was given field sobriety tests, which indicated some degree of impairment. She refused a blood test.
She was cited for driving under the influence and for driving on the wrong side of the road.
Nathan Pfeiffer, 25, of Weatherly, was stopped at 10:28 p.m. on Dec. 26. Officers detected a strong odor of marijuana inside his vehicle. A search was conducted with a small bag of marijuana, eight Suboxone packets, five oxycodone tablets and a glass pipe with marijuana residue recovered by officers.
He was charged with two counts each of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana and the traffic offense.
