Lane restrictions will be in place on roadways in Carbon and Schuylkill counties next week as PennDOT plans to patch potholes.

Repairs will take place on the following roadways between the hours of 7 a.m.-3 p.m., and flaggers will be directing traffic. Work could be delayed by rain.

• Route 209 between the A.J. Baddick Memorial Bridge in Jim Thorpe and the Monroe County line, Jan. 22-23. Crews will also be doing drainage work on Jan. 22 in the area of the McCall Bridge.

• Interstate 80 between Luzerne and Monroe counties, Jan. 22-25.

Route 309 between Tamaqua and the village of Snyders in West Penn Township, Jan. 22-26.

• Fireline Road between Forest Inn Road and White Street, Lower Towamensing Township, Jan. 24-26.
