A Schuylkill County man was jailed on Jan. 9 for violating a protection from abuse order.

State police at Frackville said Craig Brennan, 40, of Girardville, was found at a residence along Beech Street in Girardville at 9:07 p.m. He is prohibited from being at the residence according to the PFA order. He also made contact with a 26-year-old woman at that residence, which he is also prohibited from doing.

He was arraigned by on-call District Judge James Reilly, of Pottsville, and committed to the county prison after failing to post 10 percent of $10,000 bail.
