A 36-year-old Jim Thorpe man is facing charges following a vehicle stop on Dec. 31, 2017, at 10:24 p.m.

State police at Lehighton said a vehicle stop was conducted in the area of Indian Hill Road, near Maury Road, in Franklin Township, Carbon County.

The man was suspected of being under the influence of a controlled substance. He was taken for a blood test.

Found in the vehicle as a 3-month-old girl. Troopers said charges are pending blood test results.
