State police at Lehighton reported on investigating a burglary and several theft incidents.
• The break-in occurred at a Hidden Spur Road, East Penn Township, Carbon County, home. Entry to the residence occurred sometime overnight of Dec. 25-26. Troopers did not indicate if anything was taken. The owner of the property is from Bethlehem.
• A Scenic Drive, Polk Township, Monroe County, resident reported his two unlocked Dodge Ram 2500 pickups were entered while parked at his home. Removed was a Ruger American rifle, model 06908, serial number 693-25413. Also taken from the vehicles were two snap-on extractor drills, Cornwell air chisel and a snap-on cordless impact drill. The theft was reported at 6:20 a.m. on Dec. 27.
• A 48-year-old Breinigsville woman reported that someone stole her snowboard while she was skiing at the Blue Mountain Ski Resort in Lower Towamensing Township, Carbon County, on Dec. 27. The theft was reported at 7:26 p.m. Troopers said there are suspects and the investigation is continuing.
• A 77-year-old woman from the 500 block of Kreger Road in Polk Township, reported a trailer was removed from her property sometime between Dec. 11 and 24.
