A Northumberland County driver stopped for speeding ended up facing another charge.

State police at Fern Ridge said Michael Leonard Krankowski, 40, of Coal Township, was stopped around 3:40 p.m. Monday along Interstate 80 in Tunkhannock Township, Monroe County, for speeding. At the stop it was determined that Krankowski was operating his vehicle without the required ignition interlock system due to a prior driving under the influence conviction.

Charges were filed.
