Sleet this afternoon could affect commute
A brief period of snow, possibly mixed with sleet, is expected during the early to mid afternoon today. Accumulations will be less than an inch but with a cold ground, snow and sleet will accumulate on roads.
Travel difficulties are possible this afternoon and could extend into the evening commute.
There is a chance for freezing rain Wednesday night along the I-80 corridor. Any icing accumulations would be minor but enough to cause slippery travel.
