Carbon County officials were sworn in during a ceremony today at the Carbon County Courthouse.

Jean Papay of Palmerton is taking office as register of wills and clerk of orphans' court in Carbon County. Several others are taking office.

Most municipalities have scheduled reorganization meetings tonight.
