Wind chills to 15 below zero Wednesday night

The National Weather Service has issued a wind chill advisory Wednesday night through Thursday morning.

The coldest stretch of this arctic outbreak could occur Wednesday night into Thursday and Sunday into Monday. Additional wind chill advisories may eventually be needed for a portion of the area.

There is a chance for accumulating snow Saturday, which could lead to hazardous travel conditions across the area.

From 9 p.m. Wednesday through noon Thursday very cold wind chills expected. Expect wind chills to range from 10 below to 15 below zero.

The cold wind chills will cause frostbite in as little as 30 minutes to exposed skin.
