Panther Valley

Panther Valley earned a 52-35 Schuylkill League win over Mahanoy Area.

Rene Figueroa poured in a game-high 26 points to lead the Panthers (4-1; 2-0). Allen Perez added seven.

Mahanoy Area started the game 0-of-20 from the floor. Shane Miller had 11 for the Golden Bears.

Thad Zuber paved the way for Tamaqua with 20 points. The Blue Raiders (6-1; 2-0) also received 16 from Lucas Gregoire.

Tamaqua also won the JV game, 44-26.
