McAdoo citations
McAdoo Police have released information on several citations recently issued by the department.
Michael Plaza
, 30, of Kelayres, was cited for driving under the influence of a controlled substance after a traffic stop on Nov. 14. Blood test results indicate he had marijuana and metabolites in his system at the time.
He was also charged with driving with a suspended license and for the traffic violation.
Jennifer Kocela
, 51, of Lansford, was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop on Oct. 20. Officers recovered two small glass pipes with burnt residue in her vehicle when it was stopped at 10:19 p.m.
She was also cited for failure to lower the high beams.
Lisa Zucatti
, 55, of Hazleton, was charged with three counts of driving under the influence of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and speeding. She was stopped at 8:48 p.m. on Oct. 25. Officers conducting a speed enforcement project clocked her car as traveling 50 mph in a 25 mph zone.
Emerson Felix-Alonzo
, 36, of Reading, was cited for driving under the influence of alcohol after traffic stop at 2:33 a.m. on Oct. 23. Blood test results show he had a blood alcohol content of 0.241 percent, three times the legal limit of .08.
He was also cited for failure to drive at a safe speed.
Danny Arias Arias
, 41, of McAdoo, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol after a traffic stop at 12:56 a.m. on Oct. 22. Blood tests indicate he had a blood alcohol content of 0.228 percent.
He was also cited for non-working license plate lights.
Gregory Boyer
, 65, of McAdoo, was cited for driving under the influence of alcohol after a traffic stop at 10:39 a.m. on Oct. 26. Blood test results show he had a blood alcohol content of .211 percent.
He was also cited for having an invalid inspection.
Wayne Kapish
, 64, of McAdoo, was cited for retail theft on Nov. 8. Kapish was caught stealing a Dove candy bar from Fegley’s Mini Mart.
Christopher Orfield
, 26, of McAdoo, was cited fro disorderly conduct and harassment after cursing and yelling during a Dec. 5 meeting of McAdoo Borough Council. Orfield was repeatedly told to stop, but refused.
