Abbygail A. Coombs, 20, of Stroudsburg, was injured in a one-vehicle crash at 1:57 p.m. Dec. 15 on Township Route 3021 (Leola) Road in Jackson Township, according to state police at the Fern Ridge barracks.

Police said she required an EMS transport after the crash. The severity of her injuries are not known.

Police said she was driving a 1999 Toyota Corolla northbound and was negotiating a left curve in the roadway when she lost control of the vehicle. It left the roadway and the driver’s side struck a utility pole before the car came to a rest in a ditch.

Coombs was cited for failure to drive at a safe speed.
