A Monroe County driver escaped injury in a crash about 3:23 p.m. on Dec. 9 along Route 715 in Jackson Township.

State police at Fern Ridge said Kevin M. Rabich, 36, of Saylorsburg, was driving a 2008 Dodge 1500 pickup southbound when his vehicle slid on the ice-covered roadway. The truck went onto the right berm and struck a utility pole. The truck had to be towed.
