The Bowmanstown Volunteer Fire Co., 259 Lime St., Bowmanstown, has many upcoming events. For information on any of the following events, please call 610-852-2722. On Dec. 14 and 28, the fire company has Wing Nite beginning at 6 p.m.

A Kids Christmas Party will be held Saturday, Dec. 16 beginning at 1 p.m.

An Ugly Christmas Party will be held at 9 p.m. Dec. 23. Come out for a fun time.

Breakfast with Santa will be from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Dec. 24. Bring the kiddies to see Santa.

Breakfast with Santa will be held on Dec. 17 at the Bowmanstown Rod & Gun Club, 525 Club Road, Palmerton. This is an all-you-can-eat buffet which includes home fries, bacon, hash, eggs to order, pancakes, S.O.S., toast and cereal. Also coffee, tea, cocoa, orange juice and milk. Breakfast is served from 8 a.m. to noon. Bring your camera and visit with Santa.

Holy Trinity News

Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 502 Lafayette Ave., Palmerton will hold worship service with Holy Communion at 10:15 am. on Sunday. This is “Undies Sunday.” Donations of undies for women and children, hats, gloves, scarves, disposable diapers and personal items are welcome and may be placed around the Charlie Brown Christmas tree in the narthex. All donations should be new and unwrapped. Donations will benefit Turning Point of the Lehigh Valley, which serves women and children in our area who need to escape from an abusive home.

Following worship on Sunday, a congregational meeting will be held for the purpose of adopting a financial plan for 2018 and electing members for the church council.

Winter concert

The bands and choruses of the Palmerton Area High School and Junior High School will present their winter concert from 7-9 p.m. Dec. 19 at the high school, 3529 Fireline Road, Palmerton. Admission is free. Come and support these talented young people.

Library board meeting

The Palmerton Area Library board of directors meeting will be held at 4 p.m. Dec. 20 in the library, 402 Delaware Ave., Palmerton. Meetings are open to the public.

Jerusalem UCC

Jerusalem United Church of Christ, 545 Church Drive, Palmerton (Trachsville) will hold worship services at 9 and 10:30 a.m. Sunday. The Children’s Sunday school program “The Little Drummer Girl” will be held during the 10:30 service.
