One person sustained minor injuries in a one-vehicle crash at 8:46 p.m. Sunday on Maury Road in Penn Forest Township.

State police at the Lehighton barracks said Matthew J. Apt, 18, of Williamstown, New Jersey, was driving a 2007 Chrysler southbound when he lost control of the vehicle, causing it to roll onto its roof.

Apt was not injured but a passenger, Erik A. Marrero, 19, of Sewell, New Jersey, sustained minor injuries and was transported to the Gnaden Huetten Memorial Hospital, Lehighton.

Police cited Apt for failure to drive at a safe speed.
