An access device fraud incident was reported at 1:20 p.m. Tuesday to state police at the Fogelsville barracks.

Police said the victim is a 61-year-old New Tripoli man.

The incident started at the Exxon gas station located along Golden Key Road (Route 863) in Weisenberg Township, where it was discovered that a skimmer had been placed on two of the fuel pumps at the station. Police said the skimmers were placed on the pumps by an unknown suspect and had been on the pumps for approximately one month.

Subsequently, police said, the victim’s information was obtained by use of the skimmers and used to make an unauthorized purchase at a separate location.
