Breakfast

An all-you-can-eat breakfast will be served at the Towamensing Volunteer Fire Co., 105 Firehouse Road, Palmerton (Trachsville), from 7 a.m. to noon on Sunday. Menu is scrambled eggs, potatoes, bacon, sausage, pancakes, cream chipped beef, juice, milk, coffee and tea.

A children’s breakfast with Santa will be from 10 a.m. to noon. Free to children under 12.

Handcrafted items auction

Time is running out if you want to participate in the handcrafted items auction being held at the Palmerton Area Library, 402 Delaware Ave. The event ends Friday. All proceeds benefit the Palmerton Area Library.

Kids Christmas Party

The Teen Group of the Palmerton Area Library is sponsoring a Kids Christmas Party from 6 to 7 p.m. Monday. There will be stories, carols, games and crafts. Reserve a place for your child by calling the library at 610-826-3424.

Holy Trinity news

On Sunday at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 502 Delaware Ave., is the children’s involvement service at 10:15 a.m. A Charlie Brown Christmas Tree is set up in the narthex for donated items for Turning Point of the Lehigh Valley. Donations may include underwear for women and children, hats, gloves, scarves, disposable diapers, and personal items.

The CACPAC Food Pantry shopping cart has returned. The food pantry is in need of nonperishable food items.

Community meal

A free community meal will be held at St. John’s United Church of Christ, 891 Columbia Ave. in Palmerton from 5-6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Please come and join in this free meal and enjoy fellowship with one another.
