Fire crews from several communities were on the scene of a dwelling fire Tuesday afternoon at 135 Blue Mountain Drive in West Penn township.

When firefighters arrived on scene they found smoke and flames pouring from the single family wood frame dwelling.

Fire companies from West Penn, New Ringgold and Tamaqua responded as well as the Penn Mahoning ambulance. West Penn Fire police maintained traffic control at the scene.

Due to the remote location of the scene water had to be tanked into the site. No injuries were reported in the incident.
