State police at the Lehighton barracks said the driver of a 2006 Subaru fled the scene of a three-vehicle crash that he or she caused at 8:43 a.m. Nov. 10 at the intersection of routes 248 and 209 in Franklin Township.
Police said the vehicle struck the rear of a 2015 Chrysler that was operated by a 71-year-old Palmerton woman, pushing the Chrysler into a 2018 Chevrolet Sonic driven by a 46-year-old Slatington man.
The Subaru operator left the scene and the other two vehicles required towing, police said.
