State police at Frackville are investigating an attempted burglary at a Schuylkill County residence.

Troopers said the incident occurred at a Hughes Street residence in New Ringgold.

Troopers said someone attempted to pry open the front and rear doors of the residence without success. The incident occurred sometime overnight of Nov. 22 and 23 while the owner was not home. Damages were noted to both doors.
