November 18, 1944 — Coaldale manages a pair of touchdowns while its defense shuts out Summit Hill for a 13-0 victory. Buberniak keys the first scoring drive for the Tigers, coached by Tom Raymer, when he collects a 22-yard run and catches a 29-yard pass from Dalto. Dalto ends the march with a 1-yard TD run. The winners add an insurance tally in the second half when Pinkey’s blocked punt eventually leads to Nick Macenka’s 5-yard TD run. Coaldale also receives a key interception from Flyzik to stop a scoring threat and preserve the shutout.
