Rush Township supervisors also took the following action on Thursday:
• Accepted Katie Orlick’s letter of resignation as township secretary-treasurer, effective Nov. 10.
• Accepted Ryan Township’s letters of intent for intermunicipal purchases of a 12-foot snowplow and a 2009 Ford 350 pickup with snowplow.
• Announced that the township’s planning commission is looking for another member to serve on its board.
• Appointed Ed Tite as the emergency management coordinator.
• Announced that the township office will be closed on Nov. 23 and Nov. 24 for the Thanksgiving holiday.
• Monday garbage collection will be the same, and Friday’s garbage collection will be on Nov. 25.
