Palmerton library events

The Palmerton Area Library will host its annual Christmas Party on Dec. 11 for children in kindergarten through third grade.

The party will run from 6 to 7:30 p.m. and will include stories, carols, games and crafts. It is free and sponsored by the teen Group.

Want to treat a book-loving friend to bunch of books? The library has for sale maroon tote bags for $5 each. Buy a bag and fill it for free with any of the items in the Basement Book Sale. This sale includes books, movies, CDs, puzzles and games.

In addition to the tote bags, the library is selling tickets for its handcrafted items auction. Tickets are three for $1 or 50 cents each. All of the proceeds benefit the library.
