State police at Fern Ridge reported on two arrests made by troopers. Police did not name the suspects.

• A 41-year-old woman from Jim Thorpe has been cited for violating a protection from abuse order. Troopers said the suspect contacted the son of a 40-year-old Albrightsville man via text messages, written notes and through a third party in violation of the order.

• A 30-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman, both from Effort, Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County, were cited for harassment following an incident at 9:48 p.m. Oct. 20. Troopers said both were involved in a verbal argument that turned physical at a residence on the 300 block of Apache Drive. Both were cited.
