A Carbon County man is facing a charge of indecent assault following an incident that occurred on Oct. 7.

State police at Fern Ridge identified the suspect as Carlisle Luther Brownmiller, 79, of Lehighton.

According to troopers at 3:17 p.m. at a location along Route 115 in Brodheadsville, Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County, Browmiller fondled a woman.The woman left the location and reported the incident to state police.

Troopers also filed a charge of harassment against Brownmiller in addition to the indecent assault charge.
