Several people were injured Sunday on a crash along Interstate 80 in Kidder township.
The crash occurred just before noon in the west bound lanes at the 178.2 mile marker. Two vehicles were involved.
One sport utility vehicle swerved to the right rolling down a brush covered embankment coming to rest on its side while a pick-up involved entered the berm traveling along the embankment moving down a large steel beam before coming to rest several feet away against a tree.
The victims were treated at the scene by members of the Lake Harmony ambulance and Lehighton paramedics before being transported to area trauma center.
The Lake Harmony and Albrightsville fire companies responded. State police at Fern Ridge are investigating the incident.
