A free car seat check, sponsored by Kid Zone/Blue Mountain Health System and the Pennsylvania State Police, will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 20 at Kovatch Sales & Service, 420 N. First St. in Lehighton.

Results from previous car seat safety checks have shown that four out of five car seats are used incorrectly. Learn how to install your child’s car seat correctly so yours is not one of them.

Trained technicians will educate participants on the proper way to install a car seat in their car, and ensure their child is properly restrained in the car seat.

In addition, they will answer questions about when you should turn your baby’s car seat around to face forward, why your car seat doesn’t fit tight in the car, if your car seat been recalled and more. Please bring your child/children.

No registration is necessary.
